Many colleges have their own support system for LGBT members. JCR and MCR committees will usually have some trained Welfare reps, and there are usually several Peer Support officers in each college, who are trained by the university to offer a counselling service, and these should generally be the first port of call for any problems. However, for LGBT-specific queries and issues, many colleges also have a dedicated LGBT officer. In some colleges, they have instead a "Diversities" or "Equal Opportunities" officer.
LGBTSoc maintains a list of these officers, but we rely on information from the colleges for this purpose, and so the information may sometimes be out of date. Please let us know if you find any errors by contacting the President.
This website automatically detects which college network you are accessing this website from and attempts to provide any names of LGBT reps we have on our database. If you are accessing the website outside of the Oxford network, you can manually select your college here.
